Playwright

Callum is also a writer and has had several plays produced in full both in The US and in London. Previous works with co-writer David Shopland include Coffee and John (The Downstage Theatre Texas), A Silent Mouth (The Lunchbox Theatre Aberdeen, The Alma Theatre Bristol), A Life In Monochrome (Ovalhouse and The Space, London) and Cinderella (Leicester Square Theatre). Callum and David also penned the script for a new adaptation of The Little Mermaid which ran for five weeks at The Riverside Studios, Hammersmith. Their most recent play 'Into Thin Air', about the mystery of DB Cooper, ran at The Space in October 2015. Into Thin Air transferred to The Hounslow Arts Centre in West London in early 2016. Callum and David are also developing a television pilot entitled 'Actively Seeking Employment'.

As a solo writer, Callum had his short play 'Prologue' published by Sentinel magazine in 2011, and was later produced at the Old Theatre Royal Bath in 2013.In 2014 he was commissioned by 20:20 Vision Theatre to write a brand new play to be workshopped at Arts Educational Drama School in Acton, West London, entitled 'The Green Room'. Callum and Dave are writing together again for 20:20 Vision as part of their 'Seven Deadly Sins' inspired New Writing Festival for this year's Bath Fringe.
